Connecting to Colorbeam Gateway
Once the drivers loaded, in Composer, the first module you will need to add is the Colorbeam Processor.
Once added, in Composer, go to the network tab, select "Colorbeam Processor" and enter the ip of your Gateway.
Once setup, double check in Composer that the Control4® Processor and Gateway are communicating by selecting the network manager.
Adding and Calling a Colorbeam Key Pad
Once the IP Manager is installed and working, you can now add Colorbeam Keypads. These keypads represent the virtual keypads configured in the Gateway.
Once you added the Colorbeam Keypad to a room, set it's Device ID number to the same integration id number found in the Gateway configuration page. Note that you will need set a integration id yourself for your keypad on Gateway's the configuration page.
Then once the device id is set, you can call on of the keypad's buttons in any Control4® script you create with Composer.
Adding Dimmers
Once the Colorbeam Processor is installed and working, you can now add Colorbeam Dimmer. This Dimmer allows you to control specific channels associated to loads and there level. For example, for a RGB load, you will need to add the driver 4 times. Once for the Red channel, once for the Green channel, once for the Blue channel and once for the level channel. This will allow you to control all properties of a load and even create Advanced lighting scenes in Control4® with these dimmers.
Once the Dimmer driver is added, make sure to set it's Device Address to the Integration ID you set in the Colorbeam Gateway. Then select the channel you want to control with this dimmer.
Then refresh your Control4® navigators and you should see the dimmers you added appear.
Interactive Colorbeam page on Control4® Touch Panel
The Colorbeam Touch Panel (CBNA TP) option simply displays the Colorbeam Gateway Interactive Page in a Control4® tablet under the comfort section. It must be a tablet that supports web pages.
Once the driver is added, set it to the ip of your Colorbeam Gateway followed by a semi-colon and the number 8889.
For example:
http://192.168.1.10:8889
Then to enable this feature, you will need to select the room this driver belongs to, then select the "Navigator" tab, select "Comfort" from the "Experience Menus" section, then select "Colorbeam NA", select "Modify", then add "Colorbeam NA to the "Visible Devices" list. Once completed, refresh your navigators. You should now see a new option in Comfort on your navigator.
Please note that this driver will be deprecated in the future.
