Lighting reimagined
from the ground up

Every component of the Colorbeam system was engineered with a single purpose — to deliver light that performs better, installs cleaner, and works in harmony with the people living under it.

Explore the Technology

A fundamentally different approach to lighting infrastructure

Conventional lighting runs high voltage — 120V Romex wiring — all the way from your electrical panel to every fixture in your home. Every switch, every dimmer, every fixture is part of that high voltage network. It's how lighting has been wired for decades, and it comes with all the limitations you'd expect from a decades-old approach.

High voltage in. Low voltage everywhere else.

Colorbeam works differently. The system begins with a control interface — a keypad that communicates with a control processor. That processor sends instructions to the GATEway, Colorbeam's patented intelligence layer, which translates them into DMX signals and routes them to the appropriate drivers. Power enters the system at the distribution level — a rackmount unit for downlight fixtures, a DIN rail unit for tape lighting. Everything leaving those units travels at low voltage: CAT6 cable to each downlight fixture, low-voltage cabling to each tape light run. High voltage is contained entirely within the distribution units. Everything beyond is clean, low-voltage cabling.

The system, from end to end

Installed cleaner and commissioned faster than anything built on conventional infrastructure.

The GATEway Processor

The GATEway is Colorbeam's patented intelligence layer — and the reason the entire system works the way it does. Every other component in the chain depends on it. It receives instructions from your control system, translates them into precise DMX signals, and routes them to exactly the right drivers at exactly the right moment. Nothing moves without the GATEway telling it to.

Every scene, every schedule, every configuration lives on the GATEway. It is the single source of truth for your entire lighting environment.

Every configuration. One device.

Holds all system configurations on-device
Compatible with major residential control platforms
Communicates via DMX to all downstream drivers
Fully scalable across any project size

Engineered at the wavelength level

The HEKA™ Chipset

Most lighting products are tunable in the way a dimmer switch is — brighter or dimmer, warmer or cooler. The HEKA™ chipset operates at a fundamentally different level of precision. It controls the specific wavelengths and frequencies of light emitted — measured in nanometers — that have been scientifically shown to influence melatonin production and the body's internal clock.

Where conventional LED chips have a gap in the cyan range of the spectrum, HEKA™ eliminates it entirely — producing spectral output dramatically closer to natural sunlight, with an R9 red rendering score of 97. The result is light that renders color, skin tone, and space with a fidelity standard LED technology simply cannot match.

The difference isn't just visible. It's biological.

Cyan dip eliminated — closer to natural sunlight
R9 score of 97 — exceptional color and skin tone fidelity
680nm melanopic content — optimized for evening environments
No violet or UV wavelengths — biologically precise

Full Tunability

Any light. Any mood.

Colorbeam's tunable system covers a range from 2200K to 5000K — from the warmth of candlelight to the clarity of midday daylight — with seamless, imperceptible transitions between any two points on that spectrum. There's no stepping, no sudden shift. It simply moves.

Beyond Beyond tunable white, the RGBW capability adds full color to the system for accent lighting and architectural detail. Every fixture is individually addressable — any scene, any combination, any intensity, across the entire home simultaneously.

From candlelight warmth to crisp daylight clarity — and everything in between.

Tunable white range — 2200K to 5000K
RGBW — full color spectrum for accent and architectural lighting
Flicker-free dimming to 0.1% — smooth at every level
Every fixture individually addressable across the whole home

The Complete System

Not a better light. A different category entirely.

Every component in the Colorbeam system was engineered to work as part of a whole. The low-voltage CAT6 infrastructure makes the HEKA chipset's precision possible at scale. The GATEway makes the entire network intelligent and controllable. The tunability range makes the circadian response meaningful across every hour of the day. Remove any one of these elements and what remains is a good lighting system. Keep all of them and you have something that doesn't exist anywhere else.
